TO THE PARENTS & GUARDIANS

  1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline in the children and by taking sincere interest in their progress.
  2. To see that their children prepare their lessons at home and devote at least one hour in the morning and two in the evening to study. Only if parents give their full co-operation, the school can help in the all-round development of the child.
  3. Parents should check the diary every day and take note of the homework given and see that the homework is done before the children are sent to school the next day.
  4. Parents and guardians are requested to see that their children come to school with their nails and hair properly cut, combed & trimmed as well as in neat school uniforms.
  5. Parents should encourage their children to participate in the school activities.
  6. Parent should avoid planning social functions, tours and pilgrimages on school days.
  7. Parents should remit the school fees and term fees on the days prescribed, without delay.
  8. Any communication (request / complaint) made by the parents should be addressed to the Principal. The parents are always welcome to meet the school authorities and express their views and suggestions in a spirit of co-operation and good will. But, the parents are not allowed to enter into any classroom without the teacher’s permission. They are not allowed to meet any class teachers without the permission of the principal either. Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or meet the teachers during class hours.
  9. Change of address of parents/guardians should be notified to the Principal.
  10. The school diary serves as means of communication between the school and the parents. Please note and countersign the remarks entered in the diary by the teachers.
  11. Parents are requested to retain the fee receipts till the end of the academic year.
  12. We are as much interested in your child as you are; so take us into confidence about everything relating to your child.
  13. Parents / guardians need to seek admission to this school only if they agree to abide by these rules and regulations.
  14. The Principal/Headmistress has the right to say on what conditions he/she will admit or retain a pupil in the school.
  15. Strict regularity and implicit obedience in class will be expected from the pupil.
  16. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct of the pupil will invite disciplinary action.
  17. Politeness, courtesy of speech and conduct are expected of every pupil.
  18. No child suffering from any contagious or infectious disease shall be permitted to attend the classes.
  19. The parents and guardians are requested to look into the following matters: –
      • Sending the children to school regularly and on time.
      • Encouraging them to do their home assignments.
      • Helping them to study their lessons daily at home.
      • Promotion of reading habit and extracurricular activities.
      • Cultivating the habit of friendship, love, social concern and general awareness in children.
  20. Each pupil is responsible for his/her belongings such as books, money, umbrella, tiffin carrier etc. They are advised to bring their books etc., securely placed in a bag. They are advised not to bring any valuable article which they are unable to take care of.
  21. Under no circumstance any fee paid to the school will be refunded.

ORDINARY WAYS TO HELP YOUR CHILDREN LEARN EXTRA ORDINARILY

  1. Review your children’s text books so that you know what they are learning in school.
  2. Praise their efforts; and not just their accomplishments.
  3. Stress positive values like caring, loyalty, trust, honesty, respect and responsibility.
  4. Use newspapers as “Family” text books: Use the world, national and sports pages to discuss current events.
  5. Show that you are interested in your children’s welfare by asking about school, their teachers, friends, and listen to what they tell you.
  6. Know what is there in your child’s school records. Ask for clarifications; voice concerns if any.
  7. Plan your family activities that relate your children’s studies particularly during their exam time.
